Saturday night I bit the bullet, and bought the camera.  I’d done the research, compared the prices and knew what I wanted.  I took a big gulp of wine and hit ‘BUY NOW’ button, with the hope that my credit card number wasn’t being sent into the ether of the internet to be used by some Russian scammer.   Well, in this case, Hong Kong scammers.

Monday comes, and it seems I haven’t been duped.  The call came in to confirm the delivery address, and I’m pretty sure that the people at the other end of the building could hear my sigh of relief.  I began to feel even more confident when the despatch receipt came through.  People, you really can trust the internet!  Well, I say this now as I continue wait for the actual delivery, however it will be here any day now…it will…

I get the feeling that I will be one of those tourists that you see who have this fancy pants camera that they have no idea how to use.  Fingers crossed that I will at least LOOK like I know what I am doing.  I have romantic visions of me walking through the streets of Phnom Pehn taking perfect photos.  Guess time will tell.  I just hope that I get enough good ones without my fingers across the photo!
