So in Spanish, kids are called niños or ninas, but it is WAY more fun to just call them all just ninjas. Adorable ninjas who are so fun to photograph!
So while in Sucre I spent a bit of time around ninjas, as I volunteered for a couple of days at a local orphanage. It was heartbreaking, but at the same time uplifting to see these kids in such good spirits despite their circumstances. Here are a few happy snaps of them…
I also learnt how to play ‘Wally’ in Sucre, and actual game that is similar to volleyball, but with slightly different rules. Whilst playing we befriended some more ninjas, so I bought them ice-cream. Why not!
